Leadership Coaching

Leadership becomes more complex as roles expand, expectations shift and the environment changes. What used to work no longer does - not because capability is lacking, but because the demands of the role have changed. Sometimes that shows up as exhaustion: you're producing more than ever, carrying more than ever - and somehow running emptier. That's rarely a sign you aren't doing enough.

More often it's what happens when your sense of doing well is tied to how much you produce, inside an environment where visible effort is how you stay safe. The output keeps climbing, the fuel keeps draining and working harder only tightens the loop.

I work with executives, senior leaders and those stepping into more senior or complex roles. Whether you're managing sustained change, stepping into a new level of leadership, or navigating a significant transition, coaching will help you think clearly, navigate complexity and adjust how you lead in practice. My coaching work is grounded in what's actually happening and how you show up day to day. I’ve been in the leadership seat and the people and culture seat, so I understand the nuances of your role and I provide coaching, as well as thought partnership and mentoring, where you need it.

Coaching tends to matter most at the moments capability alone doesn't solve:

  • You've stepped into a significantly bigger role and the confidence others have placed in you hasn't quite caught up with the confidence you feel.

  • You're operating at a new level and the patterns that served you well until now have started working against you.

  • You're producing more than ever and running emptier - and pushing harder isn't shifting it.

  • You're carrying more complexity, pressure or visibility than feels sustainable - and figuring it out alone.

  • The way you lead or work with others keeps running into the same wall, and it isn't shifting on its own.

  • Something has changed in how leadership feels, even when everything looks fine on paper

This Is For You If

There are two ways leaders can work with me. Both start from a clear read on how you lead and what's driving it, and both are built around what you're actually facing. The difference is depth.

The Sprint - six weeks. A fast, focused start to coaching. It includes an assessment to ground the work: either a Personal Insights profile - an in-depth personality and values report - or, for senior leaders with direct reports who want richer feedback, a Leadership 360 that shows how you're actually experienced by others. From there, you'll have a debrief and three coaching sessions. You leave with real self-awareness and a development plan you can act on. It's the map: where you are, what's really going on, and what to start working on.

The Engagement - three to six months. The deeper work, where insight becomes how you actually lead. Fortnightly coaching, built around the situations you're leading through as they happen, with a full Leadership Report to start from. This is where change embeds - because sustained change takes time and repetition, not a single insight. The longer we work, the deeper it goes.

Many leaders start with the sprint and continue into an engagement. If you do that within 30 days, your sprint sessions roll straight in.

Together we'll work on your goals and whatever is holding you back - things like influencing without authority, managing upwards, moving teams towards commitment and momentum, motivating and inspiring by leaning on your real strengths, and understanding how you come across under pressure - so you're experienced the way you actually want to be.

What It Is

Coaching with me is a thought partnership. I'm someone on the inside with you, in your back pocket for the moments between sessions, not just the sessions themselves. You'll have me on WhatsApp with a response within 12 hours, and I'm always happy to jump on a quick call when a real situation lands and you want to think it through before you act.

I'll see you clearly, and I'll see your strengths, sometimes before you do. I'll challenge how you think, and take you into discomfort on purpose. You'll always feel safe with me. You won't always feel comfortable, and that's the point. Real change doesn't happen in the comfortable place. Coaching should push you. That's what you're here for.I understand the system you're leading inside.

Most coaches work on the leader. I work on the leader and the system around them - the pressure, the promotional process, how the c-suite and investors think, the politics, the organisational complexity that's actually shaping the environment and decisions in front of you.

I spent 16 years inside fast-growth, complex organisations, most recently as a Global Chief People Officer. That's why the work lands differently. I'm not observing leadership from the outside. I've led from inside it.

What Working With Me Is Like

All coaching engagements include:

  • A free strategy session to get clear on where you're at and whether this is the right fit before we begin.

  • A short intake questionnaire to establish your baseline of where you’re at now and what’s holding you back and set your goals.

  • Your personal insights assessment and report. I partner with Hogan because it's one of the most rigorously validated leadership assessments in the world - it shows you how you show up day to day, how you respond under pressure and what really drives you. Find out more about Hogan.

    • Optional add-on: if you are a leader with direct reports you may prefer to do a leadership 360 instead of Hogan Insights, showing how others actually experience you, available in an engagement at an additional cost.

  • A 90-minute debrief to unpack what it shows, so you get an honest read on the strengths to lean on and blind spots to watch out for.

  • Three coaching sessions - targeted to your specific goals, to work through what’s holding you back and what will push you forward.

  • Leadership development tools you will have access to during and after; including modules ‘Career Momentum & Transition’, ‘The Strategic Toolkit’, ‘Self Leadership’, and more.

  • On-going TCL community access (launching soon) - priority access to webinars, resources and insights.

  • You’ll walk away with a clear read on how you lead and influence, insight into how you're experienced by others, practical ways to move people without authority over them and manage up.

  • You leave with your development plan. If you decide to go deeper within 30 days, your sprint sessions roll into a full engagement

What It Includes & What You Walk Away With

The best place to start is a free strategy session - a relaxed, no-obligation conversation about where you're at and where you want to go, so we can both see whether this is the right fit.
